A story of international baby stealing

This story is where social workers from Norfolk ignored the law and went to France to get a baby.

The phrase "habitual residence" determines which country is responsible for child protection. I am not aware of any country that makes as many absurd decisions as England. Most other countries make decisions that are about what is best for the child rather than what is best for the local authority targets.

If the parents are "habitually resident" in another country when the baby is born then the authorities here do not have any legal power to take the child. That did not stop them in the linked case, but at least the High Court got the law right even if the lower court did not.

I'm sure there are some states in the United States that would make England look good like South Dakota, Oregon, Arizona or Nebraska. But I'm sure England would be close and given Nebraska has made a slight improvement, England might make them look good soon.

The first time I ever got a compliment from a family court solicitor came following this case from Brendan Fleming himself !
It read "It seems Ian you were right after all !" (referring to my stubborn belief that babies born outside the uk and still living abroad were not within UK jurisdiction even if conceived in the UK .forced adoption

Still no hope of criminal proceedings then? at least NAME them....without having to kill them first...

suppose if the victims actually defended themselves against the nons that were attacking them and their family it's standard chemical labotomy and trial by kangaroo?

why don't the 'other criminals' and the non govt sanctioned pedos cotton onto this scam....? it's easy....just run around screaming PEACE, PEACE, PEACE smashing windows, breaking into homes attacking people....shooting people int he ehad (oh no you dnt say anything when you shoot people)...abduct the kids etc. etc......and 99% of the population will let you do it....it's called conditioning....the 1% that don't end up in mental prisons, avoid a proper trial completely...in the version you dnt even get to hear....
anybody else noticed yet the population of menatl prisons growing at 40% per year? last time i checked...might have increased since then! pretty sure the CIA stopped putting LSD in folks bread soemtime ago....they moved on since then! microwave and RF much more effective....but that besides the point!
John, maybe edit the bits out you dnt like rather than binning the whole lot? ;-) and stone cold sobre tonight....

Why are babies born young? This sounds like an odd question. People would say "of course babies are born young". However, this goes to the core of the question of human (or animal) development.
