Maltreatment of Children that are in care

The link is to the story about the conviction of a Southampton Foster Carer from Thursday. What is important about this is the inaction of the authorities over a long period of time.

The problem is that the authorities are conflicted on dealing with these things and there is no independent protection of children that are in care from abuse. I have a similar sort of case in Birmingham. Not as extreme, but the system still covers things up.

and you say 'inaction'...? not the case though is it...? they're abusers of people by their very nature....the Nazis weren't 'corupt' or 'incompetent', they/ you are who/ what you are!

It has got into the Argyll News Because he has been held such that people cannot get to him to sign paperwork an application for a writ of Habeas Corpus was made today. This has been adjourned until next week. The English judicial system is really not good at responding to major abuses of human rights by the judicial system.
