Oldham Care Case

The link is to a story in Oldham about a case of a mother who was brought up in care who has had her baby taken for adoption on the basis that her mother was in care.

This case, although it was deemed without merit by the Court of Appeal has managed to get accelerated proceedings in the European Court of Human Rights.

This is one reason why I don't want to lose the safetynet of the ECtHR.

Thanks for putting this up John,

There is so many wrongs in this case it will take an age to sort them all out, Its so difficult trying to explain to people who are not aware of the broken care system.

This type of case is not a one off or rare it happens all too frequently

At least we seem to be making good progress now.

But has to have been originated by someone. The web link shown goes through the derivation which appears to be more linked to an anonymous British Soldier WW2 than any Roman or Greek General called by a name perming 2 out of (Gaius, Galus, Petronius and Arbiter).
