A sad story (Jonathan Phillips)

The link is to a story in the Daily Mail about how the system has now caused the destruction of a family.

It is important to understand how some social workers deliberately set out to upset parents in the hope of getting a reaction that they can then use against the parents in the courts. The unannounced visit is one trick used to upset mothers.

Still another baby for the government's adoption targets.

I agree.Social workers have a plethora of dirty tactics they use to get what they want.If anyone thinks this is paranoid they should talk to family solcitors who deal with their tricks all of the time.

When social services came round with the police threatening to break down the door,I fought them all. I said you bitch you are taking my child. She gave a huge grin. I later realised its because she had got what she wanted. She made a whole case out of me losing my temper and saying I was volotile. In fact this is the first time I ever went for anyone. They did this illegally and are going to get held to account.

I really pity this solicitor as these social services staff really bully and abuse parents,as they know they have got your child, and if you say anything you can lose your child. Its a hideous abuse of power and parents have got nowhere to turn except a social services complaints system. Which is as dodgy as the present system and impossible to access.

I wish the judge would realise how stressful and awful it is to deal with a system that doesnt listen. The wife has depression yet is being made out to be seriously mentally ill.
This is another tactic they use.To exaggerate a mothers mental health problems until it doesnt resemble a treatable illness that gets better in time.

They are truly frightening and the courts need to be open to see how they are destroying families like this. The man has now lost his job.

It wouldnt surprise me to learn that the family had gone to social services for a bit of support or respite and SS have repaid trust and totally destroyed their lives in the process.

Trudiagnostic change PACE leaderboard algorithm - was in position 40, now position 44 - does it matter?

Trudiagnostic have changed the way they handle the Rejuvenation Olympics Leaderboard algorithm. The result of this initially was that I was globally no 40 and have now dropped to 44. Trudiagnostic are a US company that get samples of blood and they look at the DNA to see which parts of the DNA have methyl groups (CH3) attached to them. These modifications to DNA are called methylation markers. DunedinPACE is an algorithm which uses DNA methylation markers in white blood cells to work out how quickly or slowly someone is aging. I had three results on this. The odd thing about the results was that whilst my epigenetic age calculated from the same methylation markers was going down, the speed at which I was aging was going up. I find this somewhat counterintuitive. It is, however, I think relevant that in a global contest my approach on biochemistry which is quite different to many other people's does seem to keep up with others working in the same area. To that extent it...
