"Search and destroy" on Twitter

I have a link to a story about getting data from Twitter.

It remains my view that they will give up trying to prosecute tweeters for contempt, but think how much worse it would be with everyone anonymous and in secret as is happening with Zam.

John - how would you resolve the Zam case without secrecy?

This was dealt with in The Guardian.

Human beings can cope with false allegations. What matters is identifying the truth in an accountable manner.

The Zam case was also about protection from harrassment and the Judge is clear that relief would be allowed on those grounds.

The Guardian's suggestion only covers the defamation angle.

So how in those circumstances do you resolve the case without recourse to secrecy?

Its the long genes that stop working

People who read my blog will be aware that I have for some time argued that most (if not all) diseases of aging are caused by cells not being able to produce enough of the right proteins. What happens is that certain genes stop functioning because of a metabolic imbalance. I was, however, mystified as to why it was always particular genes that stopped working. To me it is therefore obvious that if there is a shortage of nuclear Acetyl-CoA then it would mean that the probability of longer Genes being transcribed would be reduced to a greater extent than shorter ones.
