MPs Expenses - an effective online campaign

Over the past week the government have gone from the position of having a whipped vote for secrecy in expenses, to a free vote on secrecy on expenses to withdrawing the motion for secrecy.

There still is a little uncertainty about the issue, but it now appears that there won't be a vote.
