Another mom on the run

This is not a case I know about. (see link)

A woman fled her Wearside home with her five daughters because she found out they were to be taken into care.

If, however, our care system was supportive and didn't just hammer families you would not have moms (and dads) going on the run so often.

In the 2nd reading debate people talked about how the system worked in other countries where the care system cooperates with families rather than hitting them with a judicial hammer. There is some cooperation in this country. However, far too frequently the system is simply at war with the communities it is supposed to serve.

I agree. Too often social services lie to people "oh don't worry we keep families together" to gain people's trust and then they find out the truth.

I had a period of temporary stress due to bereavement. It led to care proceedings after 3 weeks.

Now in a report it stated that if the sws had treated me properly then it may not have resulted in care proceedings, but they can't say for sure.
For 3 years since the nightmare period of respite,I have looked after my child with no concerns from anyone. Yet they can still say that care proceedings can be sought for a period of temporary stress. I find this incredible and has led me to have a fear of the children's services and to avoid them like the plague.
Legal advice is to never put your child into care or approach social services for help.

Far too many people are being diagnosed with personality disorders in these courts. I think there is a vast and fraudulent overdiagnosis of personality disorders by experts who are paid large sums of money to find something wrong with the parents in order to get their hands on their children.

Trudiagnostic change PACE leaderboard algorithm - was in position 40, now position 44 - does it matter?

Trudiagnostic have changed the way they handle the Rejuvenation Olympics Leaderboard algorithm. The result of this initially was that I was globally no 40 and have now dropped to 44. Trudiagnostic are a US company that get samples of blood and they look at the DNA to see which parts of the DNA have methyl groups (CH3) attached to them. These modifications to DNA are called methylation markers. DunedinPACE is an algorithm which uses DNA methylation markers in white blood cells to work out how quickly or slowly someone is aging. I had three results on this. The odd thing about the results was that whilst my epigenetic age calculated from the same methylation markers was going down, the speed at which I was aging was going up. I find this somewhat counterintuitive. It is, however, I think relevant that in a global contest my approach on biochemistry which is quite different to many other people's does seem to keep up with others working in the same area. To that extent it...
