It would be nice to be asked

I was very busy yesterday (hence no blog entry). Meetings in Birmingham (and I put a lot of effort into avoiding inefficient meetings) took a lot of time. I then spent the whole of the afternoon in a meeting of the parliamentary party followed by another couple of events. This left little time.

I then find in the newspaper today that one of our policies is about to changed. Well, if would be nice to be asked about it before it is announced.

Perhaps the worst thing about it is that it would have been dropped even in the unlikely event of the Lib Dems winning the election or holding the balance of power. I seems to me that all three main parties are now competing for the Home Counties middle ground vote as the determining factor in a General Election. Cells that are old in a biological sense don't work that well. One of the ways in which cells stop working is they fail to produce the full range of proteins. Generally the proteins that are produced from longer genes stop being produced. The reason for this relates to how the Genes work (the Genome). Because the genome is not gettin...
