Launch of Jazz Festival in Birmingham - Digby Fairweather and John Hemming duet

This was the second time I have played with Digby Fairweather at the Jazz Festival. It is always a pleasure to accompany him.

Sadly, however, I have my duties to perform in London and as such will not be able to attend most of the festival. I am hoping to find some time to sit in at some of the summer events in Birmingham, however.

NHS reorganisation No 3,493,233

Followers of my blog will have seen the NHS question about how many reorganisations have we had. We've yet another. The number of PCTs (Primary Care Trusts) nationally is to halve. This means merging East and North. (and then probably HoB and south). It would be nice if people would stick with one structure.
